Help
This new website design has many advanced features. There are two ways to search for your fabrics…one is by utilizing the Search Bar, into which you type a few keywords which describe what you are looking for, and the other is to use our new “Organize Fabrics By” filter by going into the categories and search by picking descriptive terms from the drop down windows, then clicking Apply.
When using the “Organize Fabrics By” Filter, the first page that opens is All Fabrics. In other words, you automatically start viewing ALL our fabrics. (usually between 3,00 - 4,000). You may elect to browse everything from the beginning, or create a filtered group of fabrics to view. You may select Search terms from any single category or multiple categories, then press "Apply".
However, (and this applies to both the Search Bar and the Fabric Organizer Filter) the MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember is that choosing fewer search terms will always get you a better result. Also, we recommend you use BOTH types of Search to look for fabrics, because of the way they search, you will get somewhat different results from each search technique. Only by running your search on both search engines can you be sure of ultimately seeing everything we have that you may like.
To get a large return of fabrics to view, keep the number of terms you Search by as few as possible. Pick just a couple of the MOST IMPORTANT terms and then run your Search. In fact, don’t be afraid of using only ONE search term….you may find it brings the Best Results. Fewer terms yield a wider variety of fabrics to look at which will be both relevant and applicable to your needs. Don’t forget to "Reset" your filter before trying new Search terms.
