The patterns for each piece are created by using the hand carved wooden blocks in the indivudual style of the particular artisan resposnible for the creation of that piece. The velvet is hand dyed and hand stamped with hand blended dyes and the shimmering metallic ink overlays are of the same formulation used by Mariano fortuny himself.
